Welcome to my beta virtual healing center! Eventually my dream is to have a team of healers and a library of resources. For now, it’s just me, Tamara Tanner of Spring City, Utah. I am a musician, licensed massage therapist, certified CranioSacral therapist, and teacher. Many life experiences have taken me around the world and have exposed me to a variety of people and learning experiences. One of the things I have loved about the paths my life has taken me on is the opportunity to get to know diverse people and become friends with people who are very different from me in their culture, upbringing, values and beliefs. I love diversity, and I have found that we all have many things in common. One of them is that most of us want to be healthy and happy. My path has led me to explore healing, starting with my own healing. I have learned that it is a journey, and the best times have been when I have followed the messages of my own body. Some of my worst experiences have been when I have ignored my inner knowing to follow what some “expert” has told me I should do. While there is great value in seeking for and following advice from those trained in the health of the body, I believe that the greater value is to learn to pay attention to your own body so that it can tell you what it needs, including what resources to turn to for help. The purpose and mission of this space is to help people like you to take your own healing journey towards wholeness. This is your journey, and no one can or should take this journey for you. Pain, from whatever source, can either keep you down and stuck in misery, or transform you into who and what you are meant to become. We will explore together what journey your pain is inviting you to take. Once you are on that journey, we will offer resources that both educate and inspire you along the way. One of these resources is a healing community that brings people together in a safe, nurturing environment where they can interact with each other in healing ways. You are joining me at the beginning stages of this healing center. Thank you for being here! It is such an honor.
